Tag Mounting Guide

Why Mounts?

ESL tags have clipped edges designed to snap into shelf rails, but shelf profiles vary widely across manufacturers and store fixtures. Our 3D-printed PLA mounts provide a universal attachment solution that works with any standard shelf rail, gondola, or counter edge.

Available Angles

Mount	Angle	Best For
TM-01	0° (flat)	Eye-level shelves where the tag face is parallel to the shelf edge. Standard retail gondola shelving.
TM-A10	10°	Counter-height displays and mid-level shelves. Slight tilt improves readability when customers are standing close.
TM-A30	30°	Low shelves, high shelves, or any position where the viewer is significantly above or below the tag. Also great for trade counters and workbench edges.

Material & Quality

Material: PLA (polylactic acid) — rigid, durable, and environmentally friendly
Weight: 8–11g per mount depending on angle
Color: Matte white (standard). Custom colors available for bulk orders
Production: Commercial FDM printers with tight tolerances for consistent snap-fit

Compatibility

All mounts are one-size-fits-all and work with every Sovereign Shelf tag size:

TAG21 (2.1" — 250×128 display)
TAG35 (3.5" — 360×240 display)
TAG58 (5.8" — 648×480 display)

Installation

Clean the shelf rail where the mount will sit
Clip or adhere the mount onto the shelf rail. The mount grips standard shelf-edge profiles; for non-standard edges, use the included adhesive pad
Snap the tag in. The tag clips into the mount the same way it clips into a shelf rail
